NBSC-RDID JOINS NOMCARRD Q1 CLUSTER COORDINATION MEETING AND ANNUAL REPORT WRITESHOP
Northern Bukidnon State College’s Research Development and Innovation Division (NBSC RDID) participated in the 1st Quarter Cluster Coordination Meeting and Annual Report Writeshop organized by the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (NOMCAARRD). The activity was hosted by Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSCST) in Tangub City on February 18-20, 2026.
The activity aimed to strengthen coordination among consortium member institutions, review first quarter plans and operational concerns, and facilitate the consolidation and drafting of the consortium’s Annual Report through a writeshop.
NBSC was represented by the following RDID personnel:
• Dr. Mary Koren-Witting Acuesa – Research and Development Cluster
• Melven I. Valmoria, M.Sc. – Science Cluster
• Precille Babes T. Baldapan – Technology Transfer Cluster
• Nicko C. Cajes – ICT Cluster
During the cluster meeting, participants presented updates on ongoing and proposed initiatives, highlighted cluster accomplishments, and discussed operational concerns that require collaborative action. The discussions emphasized alignment of plans and improved coordination among member institutions.
The Annual Report Writeshop focused on consolidating accomplishments for 2025. Participants validated submitted data, ensured consistency with prescribed formats and performance indicators, and drafted assigned sections of the report. The session concluded with a synthesis of agreements and the identification of action points to guide succeeding consortium activities.
The activity strengthened institutional collaboration and reaffirmed NBSC’s commitment to advancing research, development, and innovation through strong partnerships and continuous improvement.
